Merry Christmas!
Over the next few weeks the grade 5-7 student will be in the adult service to participate in the Christmas celebration.
I hope you have a great holiday and that you have the opportunity to spend time with family and enjoy the snow!
Remember the meaning of Christmas and the greatest gift we've ever received, Christ!

Sunday December 14

This Sunday we talked about Choosing Loyalty.

Loyalty requires personal sacrifice.

The bible verses we looked at are: 1 Chronicles 29:17-19; Proverbs 18:24; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; John 15:13

We discussed wben we have found it difficult to be loyal to Jesus, how it made us and others feel when we are not loyal, what choices we need to make in order to be loyal to Jesus and what grace is.

Sunday November 30 and December 7

This Sunday we talked about Choosing Betrayal.

The relationship built on conditions will ultimately betray you.

We discussed wben we have been betrayed or when we have betrayed others, how it made us feel, how it made others feel and how the different "departments" of our lives effect our loyalty to God.

We will be having another youth get-together at my house

Friday December 5 @ 7:00-9:00 pm.

We'll be watching a movie and making banana splits.

I'll provide the ice cream!!

We discussed what "departments" we have in our lives, how well integrated those "departments" are and what message we send to others about our true character when they see dis-integration in our lives.

We discussed what corruption is, what drives our actions and how we feel when someone questions our motives.
