Walking Through The Wardrobe

We are starting a new book for curriculum in our grade 5-8 class this week Walking Through the Wardrobe. It is from the same author as Walking With Frodo (our last book). For more information on the book, based on C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe check out http://saraharthur.com/writing/narnia/index.htm

In order to bring what we are learning home, we will be doing this book a little different.

Each week I will post the first part of our lesson online for the students and their families to do at home before Sunday. On Sunday mornings, our class will do the second part of the lesson. The lesson takes about half an hour.
This could be a great opportunity to have your student share what we do in class with you. Have them explain Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, Thumbs In-Between, also try encouraging them to read the lesson aloud to the family (many of the student read aloud for the class on Sundays).

Each part is focused on different characters from the book.

We are looking forward to getting deep into the adventures of the Kingdom of God.
